Final Day of CB (Part 2) - Nishikane 西かね - Coup de Grâce by Jet through @nishikane.sg . With the earlier delivery from Ki-sho... the 2nd dinner by Nobu and Ryuta finished me. I had both the nodoguro uni donabe meshi and the wagyu barachirashi before and I highly recommmended them. Nobu knows his craft well. The right amount of dashi.. the rendering of nodoguro’s oil into the rice.. with dollops of bafun uni to accentuate the meshi. Brilliant.. Simple.. yet very hard to achieve that balance. Nobu did it. 👍I particularly like that wagyu barachirashi too. Tender soft and flavourful Miyazaki gyu A5 with playful scattering of ikura and uni dressing up the box. No need to say anymore. Pls refer to earlier post. 😂Being the ONLY executive in the household that calls the shots and wears damn long pants.. 💪 I decided that we leave the Nodoguro till the day after... that can keep and the flavours may be even more intense after some time. We finished the wagyu barachirashi. 🍩 HOMEMADE + GLUTEN FREE DONUTS *save this post*⠀ ⠀ WHAT!? National Donut Day!?⠀ ⠀ I love donuts but rarely get to enjoy them! It's so hard to find a local bakery or donut shop that sells gluten-free donuts!⠀ ⠀ So what's a girl gotta do but find a no fail recipe to make them at home!⠀ ⠀ These Cinnamon Sugar donuts are gluten-free and dairy-free too! And best of all- my family can't tell the difference so cheers to that! I found this beauty at @glutenfreepalate and they are super easy to make!⠀ ⠀ FOR THE DONUTS:⠀ 1 cup gluten-free flour blend⠀ 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed⠀ 1 teaspoon gluten-free baking powder⠀ 1 teaspoon cinnamon⠀ 1/2 teaspoon salt⠀ 1 large egg⠀ 1 teaspoon gluten-free vanilla⠀ 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons avocado oil (or oil of choice)⠀ 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons dairy-free milk⠀ 1 teaspoon white vinegar⠀ ⠀ FOR THE COATING:⠀ 1/4 cup granulated sugar⠀ 1 teaspoon cinnamon⠀ ⠀ INSTRUCTIONS:⠀ 1) Preheat oven to 425°F. Grease one six-serving donut pan; set aside.⠀ ⠀ 2) In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.⠀ ⠀ 3) In a separate small mixing bowl, whisk the egg, vanilla, vegetable oil, dairy-free milk and vinegar.⠀ ⠀ 4) Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.⠀ ⠀ 5) Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan - filling each donut well about 2/3 full. The batter should not cover the center of the donut well where the hole will go.⠀ ⠀ 6) Bake for 9-11 minutes or until the donuts rise and set.⠀ ⠀ 7) Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.⠀ ⠀ 8) Place a wire rack over a cookie sheet or piece of parchment paper.⠀ ⠀ 9) Carefully remove the donut from the pan. You may need to use a spoon or a rubber spatula to loosen them if they stick.⠀ ⠀ COATING (delicious!!):⠀ ⠀ 1) In a separate small mixing bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. One at a time, dip the tops of your donuts into the coating, then flip them to coat the bottoms.⠀ ⠀ 2) Place your cinnamon sugar donut on the rack and repeat until all donuts have been coated.⠀ ⠀ 3) Store donuts in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.⠀ ⠀ BONUS TIP in the comments⠀ ⠀ Save + Enjoy + Share

GLUTEN FREE CHOCOLATE CHUNK BANANA BREAD... for my gluten free queen of course! My sweet cousin sonya has been dying for a chocolate banana bread and I thought it was a perfect day to surprise her! For the most part I bake for my cousins birthdays or events because it is so tough to find delicious gluten free foods! Especially ones that aren’t super processed and high in price. This naturally gluten free bread is soft, moist, and kid approved so I hope you try! It may leave you with a chocolate smile😊 ••• Recipe: ~3 ripe bananas ~1/3 cup coconut oil ~1/2 cup of sugar ~1/2 Greek yogurt ~2 eggs ~splash of vanilla ~dash of cinnamon ~pinch of salt ~1 tsp baking soda ~1/2 quinoa flour (toasted quinoa blended to a flour) ~1 cup oat flour ~ 1 cup of chocolate chunks (this is a LOT of chocolate BUT my family has a chocolate addiction so it’s fine) Start with you bananas mashed in a large bowl. Add in the melted coconut oil, yogurt, and sugar. Mix till we’ll combined, slowly mix in the eggs one at a time. Slowly incorporate all of your dry ingredients and then fold in your chocolate chunks. Place in a well greased dish and bake at 350 for about 30 min or until a toothpick comes out clean.
